From its humble beginning in a Southern Californian garage, as an eccentric accessories company, Paul Frank Industries has quickly grown into a successful design house. Fostering relationships with artists and brands through collaborations, Paul Frank Industries now produces artistic and entertaining eyewear designs.

Boutique eyewear distributor Eye Candy Optics has partnered with Jimara Eyewear Group to offer retailers Paul Franks’ latest optical wares for the first time in Australia. Intent on developing relationships with forward thinking retailers, distribution for Paul Franks’ creations will be limited to a select few.
Paul Frank’s Spring 2009 Collection pays homage to geometrical abstract art by mixing it with a heavy dose of the athletic influenced 1980s. Think of DeLoreans and Prisms. Or imagine Brooke Shields auditioning for Breakin’ circa 1984. Early 20th century prep school classics with some “pop and lock” thrown in for speed is what the new Paul Frank sunglass collection is all about.

New colorations include translucent aqua with a second layer of seafoam green, and opaque brilliant white combined with brown and umber. The collection is more angular than in the past, with signature Paul Frank attributes being recreated with sharper lines.
Globally positioned, Paul Frank eyewear can be found in such premiere retail locations as Eye Society (Costa Mesa), Nordstrom (National), Solstice (National), Selima Optique (New York), Disrespectacles (New York), Barney’s (Japan), Paragon (Thailand), Brillien Manufaktur (Vienna), Le Bihan (Paris), L’Osservatorio (Milan), Globe Specs (Tokyo), as well as Paul Frank’s own stores in Southern California, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, New York City, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Dubai, Germany, Qatar, Japan, Malaysia, Bangkok, Taipei and Greece.
